Head to Head
These two sides have met 25 times with West Brom holding a 10-6 head-to-head record. There have also been nine draws.
The spoils were shared the last time these two teams faced each other in October. A Jake Livermore own goal gave Brighton the lead before a late Karlan Grant goal salvaged a point for West Brom from a 1-1 draw.
West Brom Form
Relegation favourites West Brom have struggled and been in torrid form in recent times.
They have picked up just one win in their last 10 matches which came away against Wolves in the middle of January.
Currently the Baggies sit 11 points off 17th placed Newcastle and are staring at a return to the Championship.
They have the worst defensive record by far (conceding 2.2 goals per game) and have only won twice all season.
West Brom did manage their first clean sheet since November last time out away at Burnley in a 0-0 draw that they dominated. That followed a 1-1 at home to Man United.
West Brom Injuries & Team News
Centre-back Semi Ajayi will begin a suspension following his straight red card against Burnley last time out.
Left-back Kieran Gibbs is also expected to be unavailable with an upper body injury.
Right-back Lee Peltier and midfielder Robert Snodgrass are doubts having missed the last game against Burnley with injuries.
Brighton Form
Brighton were stunned by a 95th minute Christian Benteke volley on Monday as Crystal Palace which stole three points in a 2-1 win at the Amex Stadium.
The Seagulls dominated the game and were extremely unlucky not to get anything from it.
It was their ninth loss of the season and leaves the Seagulls in 16th place, just four points above Fulham in 18th.
Prior to the loss, Brighton were in good form having beaten top six sides Tottenham and Liverpool before drawing with Burnley away and Aston Villa at home.
Brighton Injuries & Team News
Full-back Solly March and forward Florin Andone are both unavailable with knee injuries.
Right-back Tariq Lamptey has missed the last 12 games but is back in training and manager Graham Potter hinted he could be involved.
